It may be difficult to accept the truth about friends and relatives, but if you don’t and continue conceding good intentions to individuals whose words are inconsistent with what they vote for then you too are complicit. A person who casts an uninformed vote is violating their most basic obligation in a representative republic. They don’t get a pass.
