My theory, dogs become more protective, more aggressive as their owners show more signs of dementia. There’s probably a scent they pick up from the cognitively challenged that makes the animal more anxious.
Lot’s of people are saying both dogs have been abused. If you watch their ears and body language I would have to agree. Some dogs get mean when abused. Especially the Shepherd family.

Bitten by a Biden
The dogs look neglected. The younger one, who bites is clearly undisciplined. The older dog appears to have hip dysplasia – common with German Shepherds.
Xiden the addle brained deviant could care less about a couple of dogs. He and “Dr.” Jill are too busy abusing the American people.
I’ll bet it was Dementia Joe that did the biting. Blaming the poor dog is just more convenient.
