 While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken. I ran on a promise to bring Americans together, because I believe that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.  I know that we’re not going to heal our country’s wounds overnight, but I remain steadfast in my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure that every American is treated equally, with fairness and dignity, under the law.

I urge everyone to express their views peacefully, consistent with the rule of law.  Violence and destruction of property have no place in our democracy.  The White House and Federal authorities have been in contact with Governor Evers’s office to prepare for any outcome in this case, and I have spoken with the Governor this afternoon and offered support and any assistance needed to ensure public safety.

  24. Brown Eyed Girl: I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that if the DOJ tried to do an AMTRAK on Rittenhouse he would have a number of powerful attorneys coming out of the woodwork to defend him pro bono.

    Besides, Rittenhouse was not a government official as were the officers in the Rodney King case. If the government tried going after a private citizen like that, they would be opening a can of worms they would long regret opening.

    Sort of off topic, I read the Huber family’s statement and they need to look in the mirror. Obviously he has a long of history of anger issues, at least twice they had to call the police because he was attacking his family, once he held a knife to his brother, cut off his air to the point he couldn’t breathe and then stabbed him in the ear. Then went after his mother and grandmother and threatened to burn the house down.
    Another time he attacked his sister and again they called the police and he told the police it was fine to hurt his sister.

    I understand that parents aren’t always to blame for how their kids turn out, but don’t attack another kid now when you know your son was screwed up and had no problems with assaulting his own family. Yeah it sucks you lost your son and for that I feel for you, but you obviously buried your head in the sand if you didn’t see this becoming his outcome with how screwed up he was.

  26. The verdict did not make me angry. Quite the contrary, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that justice was served. What made me angry was that this case ever went to trial. As clear a case of self-defense as there ever was, yet the Marxists felt the need to once again weaponize our court system.

His remarks clearly show he doesn’t care about the US Constitution and our rights to bear arms and the inferred right to protect our lives and our property by the use of those arms. That said, if I were Kyle Rittenhouse & his family, I would sue the everloving fuck out of everyone from the pedophile husk, that bitch Joyless Reid & so on, until they are all on the street begging for pennies & forgiveness. Rittenhouse might have been found not guilty, as he should have been, but his life has still been ruined by the media. He could move to Mars & still would be in danger from some idiot from the woke mob, his family as well.   35. Anybody that is angry about this outcome is either stupid or evil. There’s no other options. Leftists have been ranting about the judge being biased ever since his phone rang and maybe before. Now that it’s over, I think he did a masterful job. He gave the prosecution more than enough rope to hang themselves and they took all of it. He could have declared a mistrial but let it go to the jury. He must have known there was almost no chance of a conviction based on the evidence. In the event of a hung jury he could have declared a mistrial with prejudice but there could be no better outcome for Kyle and for real Americans everywhere than NOT GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS!!
