The November election is just about one week away, but Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is in Delaware with no campaign events scheduled on Monday, even as President Trump heads to Pennsylvania looking to erase his opponent’s lead.
By Monday afternoon, the Biden campaign told reporters the former vice president would venture out for a “local stop” in Wilmington.
Biden’s campaign pledged last week that he was “going to campaign aggressively” in the final 11 days before the election, but since the second and final debate on Thursday night, the candidate has only ventured out of Delaware once: to Pennsylvania on Saturday for two campaign stops.
“He’s going to be all across the country in our battleground states,” Biden’s campaign manager Kate Bedingfield told reporters last week. “He’s going to be fighting for every vote. You’re going to see him do in-person events. You’re going to see him do virtual events.”
The Trump campaign has frequently taken aim at Biden for his lack of campaign events — Trump has dubbed his Democratic opponent “basement Joe” — and reiterated that criticism on Monday.
“No events for Joe Biden today???” Jason Miller, a senior adviser for the Trump campaign, tweeted. “He’s lid crazy!” (Calling a lid refers to a candidate or campaign indicating to the press that they will not hold any more events, typically for the remainder of day). more
I think the Communist assholes are so confident in their ability to cheat they don’t feel they need to campaign. It’s interesting Schummer and Pelosi keep using the term “When we install the next President”. WTF?
Joe don’t realize, yes he can run, but he can’t hide.
He’s handing President Trump the shovel to bury his wicked ass, and the President will do just that.
And you’re going to see him disappear into the sewer of Democrat history.
They know it ain’t happening. No fireworks in standby, no balloons and no glass ceiling to break for the first brain dead candidate to be elected.
If the democrats have already rented that big faux Greek column stage to make Joey feel special maybe it can instead be used for the ‘big guy’s’ trial, historic as that should be.
