Biden Tells Gas Stations To Lower Their Prices – IOTW Report

Biden Tells Gas Stations To Lower Their Prices

This elicited a response from China.

Will Biden agree with China? Will he defend capitalism? Will he point out the horrors of communism?

Will he look in the mirror? Will he go out for choco-choco ice cream?

  1. MY dad owned and ran a Shell full-service gas station from the mid 60’s until 1982. He was also the President of local gasoline dealers association for many years in the 70’s. I doubt that he made more than 2 or 3 cents profit per gallon of gas sold and he sold a lot of gas, most of his profits were from repairing and fixing cars. In 1982 he lost his lease when his rent tripled from $800 a month to $2,400 a month at which point, he got out of the gas business entirely and along with my youngest brother opened a full-service auto repair garage which has done very well, and which my brother still runs to this day. And a McBozo’s was built on the site of his old gas station, he never ate a McBozo’s hamburger after that, the McBozo’s is still there after 40 years. after Budget Oil who owned his lease shafted him for big bucks to lease to mickey d’s.

  2. Budget Oil went entirely to running convenience stores with gas pumps, I call them stop and robs which charge ripoff prices for all the junk food and other items they sell. The local gas dealers fought this for many years back in the 70’s and 80’s until they finally lost out and the last full-service gas station on (an Exxon run by a friend of my dad) Spokane’s S. Hill just closed within the past year or 2. There are no full-service gas stations left anymore, they’ve all become inconvenience stores.

  3. I have done so far this year working online and am a full time student. I am using an online business opportunity that I have heard of that has made so much money. It’s really easy to use and I’m so glad I discovered it. Here is what I do.

  4. “My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of MIDTERM ELECTIONS AND DEMOCRAT PARTY PERIL!”

    FIFY

  5. As ridiculous as his statement is, I will now hear it from Dem voters I know, who also think it is the oil companies gouging us and the war, anything the WH says except for the policies they put into place.

  6. “this is a time of war”
    -Pedo McFraudliar

…IS it, now, Joe Pedo? WHOSE war? Did I miss a DECLARATION of war somewhere? Are you saying WE are at war? By what authority if you have not declared one?

There is ALWAYS someone at war somewhere in the world, and most of them do not concern us. Thus one SHOULD not concern us and WOULD not concern us, were this not a money laundry/wastrel son employer for American politicians.

Americans can make great sacrifice to end great evil.

Unfortunately, the Pedo asinineistration and the Communist Congress of America are the evils WE need to be fighting.

And robbing gas stations of their incentive to sell gas will not help with that.

…you DID declare a war, Pedo Joe. By your words and your actions you declared war indeed.

    On your own people.

…what happens when you sow the wind, Pedo?

    Fuck around.
    Find out.

The same happened to my Grandfather on the northside of Pittsburgh where he owned a Gulf Oil Station in the 60’s.
Now Interstate 279 runs through it but Heinz Co. never had to move!

  9. Re price controls, some say that such measures could slash the profit margin to zero thereby removing any incentive to produce fuel at all. So then we will have shortages which will lead to rationing which will lead to higher prices across the board… all of which will be blamed in Putin and Trump.

  10. Everything is expensive. Converse high tops are now 65 bucks.
Of course for 85 you can design your own shoes…….so I did.

Got a pair of Autumn plaid Chucks with gold eyelets. Pair of Orange Chucks with a custom southwest all star logo….and a regular pair of navy ones.

Why? Because the normal colors get sold out.

Plus…..it’s kinda fun picking out stitching colors and racing stripes.

But….it would still be funner if you could just order a pair of shoes. I’m a guy. I don’t have time to think about fashion. Shoe fit. Buy.

I dunno’. Someone else go to converse. You don’t have to buy to build a shoe.I just wanna’ know if anyone else thinks 85 bucks for some shoes is a scam.

  11. Buh?

You put in Dr. Scholls arch support or pay 70 bucks for the skateboard shoes that have extra support and padding in them already. Plus…they come in wide sizes now.

Besides my boots….what the hell else am I gonna’ put on muh feets?

  12. El Magnifico….these things should be 40 bucks tops

“I just wanna’ know if anyone else thinks 85 bucks for some shoes is a scam.”

…I spent $300 for my last pair of work boots, but it was on a Company tool allowance so it cost me personally $0. I have to have steel toe, slip resistant, and electrical resistant so a NORMAL work boot costs $100-150 for all that and wears out in a year, but THESE are Haix Station Boots, they cover all those bases PLUS biohazard resistant, fire resistant, waterproof, puncture resistant in the sole as well, have so many ATSM/NFPA/CAN ratings they need a 3″ tag on the inside of the boot to hold them all, have a lacing system so they can be donned/doffed in seconds, are built for coolness and comfort, last a long time AND can be rebuilt by the OEM when something wears out for less than the price of new.

Oh, and they’re GERMAN, too. Heavy and complicated, but strong. I know how you like things from Der Vaterland, just the thing for servicing the crematorium you wanted…

    https://www.thefirestore.com/Haix-Airpower-XR2-EMS-Station-Boot

And they look good on me, too. Muy Macho!

…so to answer your question, $80 to me isn’t too much to spend, provided you get what you want, need, and can afford.

I know you don’t like to hear it, but everything is situational.

    Even your footware.

    Enjoy.

  13. I did more research. Converse makes a shoe that looks like a regular hightop but is called the Converse 70. It has an extra thick sole.

It just irks me that Chucks went from 40 bucks to 65 in a few short months.

And yeah…I still have the same pair of steel toe Justin rough outs that I dyed and polished black….just like the Whermacht used to do.

Odd. I like German crap. Can’t stand Germans.

But that’s how this whole thing started. I need to resole my boots. One convo with mi espousa later and I need shoes. I haven’t bought anything except Chucks or steel toe boots since 84. And this pair of boots is 13 years old and has stomped out 2 separate foresty type fires. Hell on the vibram soles.

Whatever. Irritating. You can’t get the ivory hightops. In any size. Men or womens. It’s like the whole worl’ is falling apart.

  14. “Now US President finally realized that capitalism is all about exploitation. He didn’t believe this before.”

Stupid fucking Chinks, what lifted his country out of the caveman era, which was a big mistake, was giving these evil bastards access to our free and open markets. Capitalism!!!!
If we don’t take the house and senate, Biden will nationalize all oil refineries. He’s already kinda hinted at it.

Oh. Brad. So much seat wetting.

  17. Funny. Only yesterday the teleprompter said Americans are paying high gas prices to kick Russian ass in Ukrane. Today the teleprompter says Americans are paying high gas prices because the oil companies are greedy basterds.

Me thinks the teleprompter has it’s head up it’s own greedy ass.
