10. Back in the early 1970’s there was a known pedo in our small (2500 people) town that was politically connected, he was ignored until his son beat him half to death. That was when it opened up. He had been chasing most of the little boys in the town. I don’t know if he was jailed but he did go away.

    When I was that girl’s age it wouldn’t have mattered to me who he was, I wouldn’t have needed to be pulled away, I would have done it myself.
