Bidenville – IOTW Report

Bidenville

AND: Joe Biden loves to talk about Scranton, Pennsylvania, and suggest he grew up there. Never mind that he left there when he was ten and has no real connection to the city. Saying he is from Scranton evokes fictitious blue-collar roots and makes people feel like he is a regular guy.

What Joe does not like to talk about is the reality of life in Scranton today. In particular, he does not want to discuss the large homeless encampments in the city.  During the Depression, they called these kinds of places “Hoovervilles” after the sitting President Herbert Hoover. Let’s call these modern-day equivalents “Bidenvilles.” After all, it is “Bidenomics” that has produced them.

Homeless encampments in Scranton are increasingly common and growing in size. The city, a Democratic stronghold, seems largely to ignore the issue. It would after all be uncomfortable to acknowledge that the Biden administration has presided over a significant growth in the size of the homeless population in town. They renamed the expressway into town the President Biden Expressway after Joe sat down in the Oval Office, but making him take responsibility for what his policies have done to Pennsylvania seems too much. more

  1. There’s a small wooded area behind our local Kroger’s with a pond and I take a path thru there as a shortcut when I ride my bike to work during nice weather. They just fenced my shortcut off and had the township fire department do a controlled burn of the grass and reeds around the pond due to homeless encampments there. Adds a half mile each way to my ride and I have to take that extra length on a main four lane road with fast traffic with no sidewalks.
    Thanks Joe.

  2. I travel to Pittsburgh 3-5 times a year for business and the bum encampments there have skyrocketed in the last 3 years. Jogging and bike paths are impassible at some points due to bums. The locals don’t seem to care though.

  3. lots of homeless camps here on the river in norcal. sure is inconvenient to make use of public land and waterways. it is well known the homeless poop in the river which pollutes the salmon spawn before it goes out to sea. a good amount of salmon is then given to the native americans after spawn. not sure how our leaders justify feeding native americans the polluted salmon. across the country many of the inland waterway fish are contaminated, check before you eat. well documented homeless were pooping in the plastic grocery bags before the bags were outlawed. disease is on the rise nationwide, but mostly the left and right coasts. good luck getting that genie back in the bottle.
