Big changes coming to FCC under new chairman Ajit Pai

American Thinker– Among the least reported changes during a presidential transition is the elevation of Republican members of various agencies and commissions who will look to roll back eght years of over-regulation and government meddling.

One of the most important changes will occur at the Federal Communications Commission, where ultra-liberal Tom Wheeler will be replaced as chairman by Commissioner Ajit Pai, a proponent of the free market who is known for his fierce opposition to net neutrality and efforts by Democrats at the FCC to stifle the free speech of the conservative internet.

  1. I follow a very talented illustrator who is French and who lives in France bemoaning this appointment as Trump was going to control the internet and deny “his enemies “access to it.

Fake news spreads worldwide but lady you are in France!!! Geez!

  2. I’ve been staying away from the LSM for the
last couple of days and reading mostly the TRUTH
of what’s coming out of the Presidency.

I think we might have what we used to call
a White House back in charge of our country.

  3. CNN, meet the new FCC.

And I’m hoping Trump adopts that excellent list of New Rules For The WH Press Corps o that Sundance posted recently at Conservative TreeHouse.

Dress Code. Office Civility Code. Drug Testing And Security Background Checks for all reporters.
And no more preference for elitist MSM icons, and no travel offers. When Trump travels in AFOne the press can scramble to book whatever commercial flights and pay their way. No more free perks.

  4. I hope he shit-cans the TV re-pack. Was supposed to generate 89 billion for the gov’t. Might bring in 20 billion, and TV stations have to spend that much to change gear so the wireless companies can get cheap spectrum.
    2. Kill the switch to ATSC 3.0, which makes every TV OTA reception obsolete, meaning you have to buy a new TV.
Both make more headaching work for me.
