Bird Flu Takes Out 20K Turkeys on One Farm

The identity of the farm, in northwest Wisconsin, was not revealed. However, the 20,000 turkeys were destroyed to prevent spread of the H5N1 virus and will not enter the food system, officials said.

H5N1 outbreaks have led to the losses of commercial flocks in Burnett, Barron, Trempealeau, Washburn and other Wisconsin counties. The virus has also infected wild birds including cases in mallards, northern pintails and trumpeter swans in the state.

    Then probably made into vat and dog food.
    Price of eggs to skyrocket again.
    All for 1 or 2 chickens in a flock.
    Kinda like one person shoots someone, so take away all the guns.

  2. I’m seeing mortality rates of 52% though it rarely has been transmitted to humans.

    If it can jump from birds to mammals, like livestock, it might find it easier to get to us. The people catching this strain in Burnett County had mild cases, so perhaps in making its way to us it has become less lethal. I don’t really want to find out though. Let’s send in Fauci.

    Dr. Mark Siegel made the remark today that it could only be transmitted by actual contact. You’ve got to touch what ever has it. They’ve been catching it from contact with milking machines in California.

    As it plans to kill us all.

    Starvation is a hell of a weapon, second only to fear.

    This is the government laying the groundwork to wield both.

    They have 23 days to wreck the nation before Trump.
