Blood Rum – Cuba’s Child Labor Rum Industry

Will lefties boycott Cuban rum after this documentary goes wide? My guess is no.

How can they admit the land of Che and Fidel is anything but a glorious Utopia? I mean, Conan O’Brien himself went to Cuba and broadcasted back that it’s wonderful.

A film crew went to Cuba to document the rum industry after Cuba arranged to have a huge international debt paid off in rum—->

Filmmakers go to Cuba to shoot a documentary on rum, but come back with something completely different.

  1. I saw a coffee-shop friend about a year ago, hadn’t seen him in a long while. He’s in his 70s, well off. Looooved Cuba, loved the beautiful women who would do whatever he wanted them to do, and such low prices!
While I don’t condone his actions the women are better off than had he not visited Cuba. But their lives would be far better if they were in a free country.

  2. Not as bad as the child slave labor in the Democratic Republic of the Congo digging cobalt by hand to build Lithium-ion batteries for electric and hybrid cars. Google it. Discussing.

  3. Know what you like Bob, it’s a free country. Cuban Bacardi, stolen from the family Bacardi, is made in the stolen Bacardi distillery, in Cuba.
It’s proudly wearing the Socialist Union stolen Bacardi label.

  4. Have to tolerate America hating, Cuber idolizing professor in Portland. Sadly, his wife came down with breast cancer. Cancelled their vacation to Cuba so his wife could be treated locally. Told him his sweet (cough, cough) wife did not deserve what he was doing to her. After all, for years he bragged about Cuba having the best Health care system in the world. He no longer goes out of his way to lecture me. Could it be something I said?

  5. notice that none of the twatwaffle ‘progressives’ ever seem to find the time to emigrate from the ‘shithole’ they’re trying to create in the US, for the paradises of Cuba, Venezuela, Viet Nam, North Korea, Soviet Union, South Africa, Nicaragua, even Mexico … & they just love it that illegals pour over our borders because ‘they just want a better way of life’, come here for ‘love’

… why don’t they tell the illegals to go to those wonderful countries, instead of the US, if we’re so bad?
(yes, it’s a rhetorical question; these crap weasels aren’t very deep thinkers)

  6. The Bacardi family moved to a small island in Puerto Rico. Which isn’t much better than Cuba.
The CIA guy should move to Cuba. He seems so enamored by it.
The film isn’t bad. Kind of noncommittal.
