An unidentified man posing as a member of Congress made it into a secure area backstage at President Barack Obama’s appearance at a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation awards dinner in Washington Sept. 27, according to a White House official.
The man entered the backstage area during or just after Obama’s speech at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center as members of Congress gathered there to have their pictures taken with the president, said the official, who asked for anonymity to discuss the incident, which has not previously been made public.

Bogus congressman is an oxymoran.
I will be 60 next February, and three of the most distinctly uncomfortable times in my young days were the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, and I have no desire to experience another. At this point a Presidential assassination would be a catastrophe, the worst possible thing that could happen in the United States, and it would have extreme consequences around the world for decades.
That’s why I expect the Secret Service to be the biggest bad asses on the planet; the cream of the crop, the best of the best, who provide the best possible personal security to their protectees no matter who they are. We obviously are not there any more and everyone who has any respect for our way of governance ought to be pissed at this constant drip, drip, drip of serious security breaches.
At one time this was unheard of. It simply never happened because no President has been stupid enough to allow this kind of malfeasance on his own security detail. This has been going on for years and it has to stop. The President cannot be permitted to circumvent his own security like this.

I don’t want anything to happen to Obama even though I dislike him and his policies immensely.
