I particularly like About Little White Rodents And Grown Men which is Of Mice and Men. Now, which did they go George? And, Mitt-Wearing Home Plate Squatter Enclosed By Reuben Sandwich Bread which is The Catcher In The Rye. My grandson’s name is Holden by the way, I don’t know if my son intentionally named him that or if he just liked the name Holden.

Uncle Al for the win, woo hoo! He knows his classic books.
5
I missed two of them (4. & 25.) and have only read one (1984)…..

“Uncle Al is way smarter than me.”
He’s the wise ‘geezer’ around here. π€£

So, does that make Uncle Al the Old Man And The Sea.
4
But which book contains all 25?
3
Way to go, Uncle Al. I only missed #16.
That was fun.

@geoff the aardvark:
So, does that make Uncle Al the Old Man And The Sea.
Uncle Al nailed it. For the record I haven’t read 2, 6, 8.
Next on my reading list:
Before the Coffee Gets Cold: A Novel (Before the Coffee Gets Cold Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
by Toshikazu Kawaguchi (Author)
Has any one read it? Any body have any good book recommendations?
What Uncle Al said

10: The 1619 Project

Departed from a Fart
I’ve read 8 of them
GWTW when I was in Jr. High!
I recall also then reading Peyton Place, supposedly very racy at the time LOL Dr. Rossi told Constance her thighs were “wanton” or something
I think Tale of Two Cities is the one where our Lit teacher in HS would tear up when someone’s being hung at the end? I’d have to look it up to see–and I don’t read fiction anymore

Wow, I thought I’d to better at this! It was fun, though!!

The Sound and The Fury sucked, that ‘stream of consciousness” style was unreadable. Several others are doorstops.
2
@Wild Bill — Agreed! I’ve read over half of them and they weren’t all great. A few, yes; most, no.
I think there are two reasons that I was able to get the whole list and fairly quickly. One, I have a good memory for words and phrases, among other things. Two, I’ve a life-long habit of doing a few crosswords with my coffee every morning. These days, I work the NYT, the WaPo, and the Epoch Times puzzles.
2
That was fun! Thanks, didn’t know we were supposed to list our accomplishments π
Ha! Loved this! Got them all… but admit I haven’t read them all.
I can’t do crossword puzzles at all but this was fun.
What do I win? Oh: the participation trophy. Still: fun.
Also I endorse Eugenia’s comments: It’s time for a new book list!

Missed ’em all. Spent too much time looking for this clue: Goodbye to Upper Body Appendages.
The Sun Also Rises? Like, what else is it referring to? Eyebrows? The temperature?
very clever
