Israel the person was not born and Israel the country did not even exist when that promise was made. The Promise was to Abraham and then thru his seed (singular), meaning Christ, and those who share the faith of Abraham will share in the Promise. Paul wrote about this very clearly.
Galatians 3:29 “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
The Promise is not predicated on DNA, heritage, zip code or contrived history. It is predicated on Faith in Jesus Christ alone.

What original text are you referencing that disputes honoring Israel is a blessing? Why are you disregarding the many scriptures that indicates the existence of Israel, which is the name of the nation God has referred to in the Bible long before it was located in it’s current territory. BTW, the land now named Israel was promised to David originally. Also, Jesus was particularly involved in establishing Israel through his activities in the same territory where it is now. Christ will return and occupy Jerusalem to establish His throne to judge and govern Israel. He will reign over the world there.
Please read the scriptures about Israel in The Holy Bible more carefully. God, as evident in the Book of Numbers literally states the high regard He has for Israel and the Jewish people. The wise thing to do is take Him seriously, as if your life depended on it. We as Christians must respect who God considers His chosen people and the promised land they occupy.
The current denizens of the political entity known as “Israel” are not the Remnant we are looking for. The continuing fetishization of these “Jews” by some populations amongst Christendom is a mistake. The Remnant already exists, in part, having recognized Jesus as the Messiah; the Remnant will be complete at the end of the Tribulation. To blindly support the actions of a people just because they have labeled themselves as “Israel” or “Jew” only adds to our sins as a country, and the continuing judgement we are experiencing here. The current state of Israel is secular, and the religious element is Talmudic, using the Tanakh to legitimize that document. Query “synagogue of satan” (populated by both Jew and gentile).
The error of a secularized Israel does not negate God’s decision to make Israel his chose for favor. Yes, God desires Jews recognize Christ as Messiah as a nation, whether it happens or not.
Still, the concept Israel and Jews is by God’s authority. Yes, blind faith in a group of people is not the right. All are accountable for what they do about recognizing Jesus as Savior, Lord and God. Evil intent and sin based actions perpetrated by Israel should not be ignored. It must be recognized and should be called out, but God is responsible for their punishment and judgement.
God is in charge of the redemption of Israel. Christians are mandated to pray for Israel and the Jewish people AND obey God’s mandate to honor His decision about Israel.
