BREAKING: Republicans Elect Elise Stefanik To GOP Leadership After Kicking Liz Cheney To Curb

DW-

House Republicans voted to make Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) the new GOP Conference Chair, the third-highest position in House Republican leadership, after overwhelmingly voting to remove Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from the position earlier this week.

Stefanik won 134-46 over Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) after being endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

Stefanik has had her moments that sound good, but overall my impression has been, including viewing her voting record, that she is a squish.

Good luck to us.

  1. I agree she’s a squish. At the same time, Elise worked tirelessly to elect Republicans in 2020. And she succeeded. This is central to the job of the Conference Chair, and something Liz Cheney failed to do.

  2. As she is my rep, I can attest to her being a squish. She came in under Bush, but proved herself with us Trump voters up here. Her entire district and counties voted solid red in the last election.
    Keep fingers crossed though.

  3. She isn’t just a squish she totally sucks and has a far left record on voting. Trump has made a lot of bad decisions as of late. He clearly is still surrounded by scum without his interests in mind, his website totally failed and was lame. He needs to break away and follow his instincts and stop supporting the posers.

  4. Elise Stefanik?… JFC… They may as well have kept Cheney in. I’m telling you. The GOP in the House are the New Jersey Generals to the democrat’s Harlem Globetrotters. They play as if it’s their job to lose the game, and, perhaps, it is.

  5. My only exposure to Stefanik has been a few Congressional hearings, and there, she has been a ROCK STAR, using logic and good research to dismantle the Left.
    Entertaining, actually.
