Speaking of bad weeks, this story hasn’t been covered yet at IOTW but I found it to be extremely funny. It happened on the Olympic Peninsula in Wash. state in the last week or so where a woman who was using an outhouse in a national park dropped her cellphone into the shitter and went to retrieve it by using a dog chain to tied to herself and jumped in head first and got stuck and had to be removed by park maintenance workers. I don’t know if she saved her cellphone but she sure got herself into one hell of a shitty mess. Next time, lady don’t attempt to rescue your cell phone after it’s fallen into a shitter, it’s not worth it. I have a rule if I have to use an outhouse, I empty my pockets particularly my shirt pockets of my pen, glasses, cellphone etc. (because I know I have a tendency to be clumsy) so I don’t lose them in the shitter when I’ve got to go. I did drop my cellphone into a urinal once when I went to answer it and I had to get a new cellphone. This poor woman should be the idiot of the week just because. And be given an honorary Darwin Award for being too stupid to live.
@geoff the aardvark: Yes, I read about it, couldn’t finish the whole article, I was wondering the same if she got it back. That was a hard one to take…..
