DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Presidential candidate Jeb Bush says he once got an email asking if he would go back in time, if it were possible, and kill the baby Adolf Hitler.
“It said, ‘If you could go back in time and kill baby Hitler, would you? I need to know,'” Bush told a Huffington Post reporter on the Bush campaign bus in New Hampshire last week.

Hitler didn’t make Germany what it was in the 30s and 40s. He was a catalyst. If he wasn’t around, there’d have been someone else to be the catalyst. Maybe another fascist. Maybe a communist, but it’s not like Hitler introduced the entire country of Germany to Jew-hating and war lust, as if those never existed before. After the collapse of Germany’s currency during the ’20s, Germany was bound to have massive extremist political upheaval in one direction or another.
If Bush really wanted to prevent WWII and the Holocaust, he’d be better off going back in time and rewriting the shitty Treaty of Versailles that fucked the Germans so badly they could see no other way out.
