EAG: YUCAIPA, Calif. – A California man is pushing to ban children of illegal immigrants from attending public schools in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District and inspire similar action in other districts.
Joseph Turner, a 39-year-old father of two and founder of the nonprofit American Children First, filed a petition with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters this week to prohibit illegal immigrant students from attending public schools, and to require illegal immigrant parents of U.S. citizens to pay tuition to the district, the San Bernardino County Sun reports.
The proposal would calculate that bill by dividing the district’s budget by the number of students enrolled.
“I feel very confident this will qualify for the ballot,” he said. read more
Disappointing that something like this is even necessary.
I may be wrong but I think this went before the supreme court before and it got struck down.
where can I donate money to help fund his ballot initiative?
As CA Supreme struck down the peoples’ will with Prop 8 it would do so with this. But people would take notice, if that’s of any value.
CA Prop 187 in 1994 passed with 59%. Judge nullified it.
The voting public in CA has changed greatly since then. Even if it did pass there are still activist judges.
I like it.
There is a reason why they are called Illegal.
There is a reason why they are trying to change the definition of illegal.
Every time a bill is passed that favors the American citizen over the illegal alien in CA, some libtard judge deems it unconstitutional. It does not matter one little bit what the majority of the public wants or voted for, the libtards will find a libtard judge to strike it down.

“California Proposition 187 (also known as the Save Our State (SOS) initiative) was a 1994 ballot initiative to establish a state-run citizenship screening system and prohibit illegal aliens from using non-emergency health care, public education, and other services in the State of California. Voters passed the proposed law at a referendum in November 1994. The law was challenged in a legal suit and found unconstitutional by a federal district court. In 1999, Governor Gray Davis halted state appeals of this ruling.”
It was ‘struck down’ by a fifth column subversive pretending to be a legitimate judge. Gray Davis, treasonous piece of shit, gleefully failed to appeal.
Left Coast Dan-Prop 8 was illegal, dumb ass-that’s why it was struck down-you think anything can be a law? This may work-Illegals do not have rights to education
@ Normandywells – i have no idea what Prop 8 was as i don’t live in California.
But i do know your choice of words and manner of speaking them has pretty much labeled you as somebody i don’t need to read.
@ Normandywells, Well I know what Prop 8 is. I voted for it. And it wasn’t illegal or unconstitutional DUMB ASS.
Prop 8 also was not a law. They tried it as a law, passed it, and it was overturned. Prop 8 was a Constitutional Amendment. I don’t think a CA court could overturn that. Ultimately US courts overruled it.
you’ve heard people say “their oughta be a law.” Right.
Like Tedison Moran said. . . To bad we have to even have it made a law.
