NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) —
Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.
The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent.
In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years.
The racial formula was a condition imposed by court decisions dealing with desegregation in the 1970s.
Parents, however, remain frustrated with what the cuts might mean for their children. more

never thought that being white would cause so many problems this late in my life. In high school we had two 2- black kids and maybe 50 Mexicans– never any problems-everyone got along just fine, but now the same high school has 70% Mexican and 10% black and there are a lot of fights. what a shame that being white is now a burden or crime.

I’m curious how this law or rule came to be in the first place. Was it voted on by the public or passed in a 3-2 vote of some do-gooder county board?
My research indicates it cost far less to educate motivated students. Students in alternative schools (meaning filled with lawbreaking thuggish criminal kids) costs over twice as much to “educate.” This study was for Houston ISD. The school district quit publishing this statistic. My daughter attended high achieving magnet programs. I’m proud to report she earned a Master’suite degree. I performed my research every year she was in public schools.
Gee, they don’t like their kids playing in the shallow end of the gene pool.

I moved from CA in June. Drove by Walter Reed Middle School every day to pick up my kids at a PRIVATE, FAITH-BASED school. In the last year or so that we lived in Los Angeles, I noticed more and more angst and anger at the gubmint. It’s all democraps, voting democrap, all the time, but their democrap utopia ain’t working out so great. People are shell shocked at what idiots Mayor Yogapants and Gov Moonbeam are. The people whine. The people complain. And then they vote for more of the same.
Time for some White Flight, and leave the place be turned into a shithole o Mexico North. Isn’t that what LA is going to be in the long run?
We had a three-year stint in CA in the early 90s. Thankfully, our local elementary school was the magnet school for the area. I would say the school was close to 100% white.
Coming from the South, the effect of the CA culture on our young kids was extremely disturbing. Glad we got out before they hit their teens!

So I guess if it’s legal to discriminate against whites maybe the white parents ought to get together and see about getting a charter school opened somewhere nearby. Make sure the entrance requirements are likely to exclude most non-white students (part of the entrance requirements would include a clean criminal record, a “B” or higher on an English vocabulary test and a “B” or higher average in grade school). When the inevitable lawsuit occurs simply point out that you’ll be quite happy to take any student that achieves the entrance standards.
