Blaze: California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a new law on Saturday allowing transgender inmates to be placed in prisons based on their gender identity.
Previously, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation housed men and women in separate correctional facilities, and transgender inmates were housed based on their biological sex. The new California law will allow transgender inmates to be housed based on their gender identity rather than their sex assigned at birth.
The Transgender Respect, Agency, and Dignity Act notes that officers must privately ask inmates during the intake process on how they identify as. Transgender, nonbinary, or intersex inmates can request to be placed in a facility that houses either men or women based on how they identify as.
The law says the CDCR cannot deny requests for the preferred prison based solely on the inmates’ anatomy, sexual orientation, or “a factor present” among other inmates at the facility, the law states.
However, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation can deny the request of preferred prison if there is “management or security concerns.” If a request is denied, the state must give the inmate a written statement explaining the decision and give the inmate a “meaningful opportunity” to object, The Hill reported. If at any time the inmates raise concerns about their health or safety, the state must reassess their housing, according to the law.
The law also requires officers to do body search on inmates based on the search policy of their chosen gender identity. more
Here in Cali, the inmates are in charge of the asylum. The sane are punished and crazies are rewarded.

When female inmate start getting raped by other female inmate who have male rigging can the female rape victims sue the state for rape?
Male inmates can’t sue the state for being placed in an environment that leads to them getting rape. So, I guess the state’s take is “if you’re in prison it’s not rape”. All the levels of bureaucrats and no one can see this is going to end badly? That’s how many levels of stupid is running the state of CA.

Those poor women prisoners. I know they are criminals and all, but the level of sexual violence and danger they will be in from all of the newly “trans” converts from the male prison population is unthinkable. Being subject to the brutality and rape of men should not be part and parcel of serving time as a female inmate. There is a reason prisons are sex segregated and allowing men to invade the women’s prison based on a declaration of feeling a certain way about their gender identity is insane. Women will be brutalized. Women will be killed. Women will be raped. Women will have their private female only spaced exploited by violent, sexual predator, criminal MEN.
And, a few months down the road, the fucktards who run California will be shocked… Shocked!… to see that the rate of female inmates being raped has gone up 10,000%.
Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York City, and Rhode Island have similar laws where inmates are housed based on gender identity and not biological sex.

I suspect mental illness will be forced to face reality rather quickly. A few will return to sanity quickly. Others will become more unbalanced.
