A Southern California man has posted bail after authorities seized more than 1,000 firearms from his Los Angeles area mansion.
57-year-old Girard Saenz posted $50,000 bond Thursday after he was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of unlawful transportation of weapons. more @OANN.
Did that guy even know that owming 1000 weapons in Texas would only let him be labeled as a Patriot?
They were ‘suspicious’ he was trafficking them. But also, ” Authorities went on to say they have no reason to believe the public is in any danger.”
Uhh… whut?
He should just tell them he was holding the guns for Eric Holder.
@Jim,
That’s not even enough to rate as the local HOA Armory. It depends on ammo inventory, apparently…

Stories like this always got a comment from our resident firearms firebrand Bad Brad? Anyone heard from him lately?
Wouldn’t it be great if they were all legally owned? Old ones purchased before the latest laws and/or all FFL paperwork filed
Last time LAPD did one of these large gun cases they ended up giving back every gun as they were legal. Their experts are nitwits. To top it off many of the magazines LAPD took as well as a large amount of ammo they took mysteriously disappeared while in their custody
Where is Bad Brad?
I’m leaving to go bear hunting in Idaho next week and I have many guns to choose from to take along. I’ve got everything from a Tommy gun to an AR style rifle chambered in .30-06. I shot my first two elk with one of my WWII era M-1 Garands. I’ve decided to bring my Savage 110FM Sierra .30-06 named “Black Betty” and one of my Lyman .54 caliber muzzle loading Great Plains rifles. My hope is that I will be successful with the .54 caliber muzzleloader. That would be a real thrill for me. I’ll be packing a little something extra for self protection in the form of a magnum revolver. If I stop posting in the near future, the bear got lucky.
Good luck and God bless, Hambone.
A Texan going bear hunting? The bear is already dead and doesn’t even know it yet.
Please share your story and pictures when you come back.
Hambone – I can’t bear to watch as it would be just too grisly for me. But I hope you don’t make a boo-boo whilst hunting. Me, I’ll be watching a Cubs game.
#Black Bears Matter
Hambone, glad to see somebody that appreciates Savage firearms. Great rifles that don’t kill your wallet. Best shooter I have is a 110 in 7 Rem mag. Tack driver out of the box. Kicks like a mule though.
Hey, he was a metal collector.
No different than 33,000 missing emails about yoga and wedding arrangements.
What difference does it make now?
” …………. suspicion of unlawful transportation of weapons.”
I don’t know anything about the California law, but what constitutes “unlawful transportation” of weapons?
Is there some kind of permitting needed to transport weapons or something?
Hambone, my uncle loves to hunt bear. Practically “carpeted” his house in bear rugs. When he had a temporary health issue, my aunt took over the bear hunting duties. She was just as tough as he is!
Good luck and have fun!
I bet he had straws, too. The bastard!
I see a lot of wood and not much plastic. Was this a weapons cache or a gun collection? And why does the government get to care?
It’s commiepornia. They own you, your kids, your land, the air you breathe and even the thoughts in your head.
