In a brazen assault on our most fundamental freedoms, California legislators are considering a bill that would make it illegal for anyone to receive professional help to resolve unwanted same-sex attractions or gender confusion. This would apply to people of all ages. People of all religious and moral convictions. It is an absolute outrage, and it must be opposed vigorously.
This would apply to a 14-year-old girl who was raped by her uncle at the age of 8 and now feels repulsion towards men and attraction towards women. If her parents stood with her and she wanted to meet with a trained counselor to help to get to the root of her attractions, in some states, that would be illegal. No professional counselor or therapist or psychologist would be allowed to help her.
California needs to lose their statehood status, all leading politicians need to be imprisoned, their useless, un-American laws need to be tossed and the state needs to start anew with conservative leaders.
California needs to be ridiculed back into sanity–the internal contradictions it already possesses is enough to have started the ball rolling with the sanctuary State fiasco and I predict will travel into other arenas in the near future.

How would they know what goes on between a patient and Doctor? Isnt the treatment confidential?
My Understanding is that after any case of child molestation therapy is advised in order to break the chain of abuse. The idea is that untreated the abused will grow up to become the abuser. It would seem that in the cases where sexual orientation is altered and unwanted and the cause unknown, therapy should be advised as well.

Plain Jane, abortion was also made legal in 1973 the same year they removed homosexuality from the DSM. Coincidence, I think not, the two are linked together because they both destroy any sense of decency in society, if it’s OK to abort a child for any reason it stands to reason (according to liberals) then it’s also OK for homosexuality to not be declared deviant anymore. 1973 was another turning point in this country when we began to finally lose the Vietnam War due to the democraps and the duplicity of the media as well as Watergate etc. And we lost a lot as well declaring that we can do whatever the hell we want to do and suffer no consequences (boy were they ever wrong) because after all abortion is just a choice and homosexuality is a lifestyle choice as well that we can’t question because who are we to judge. I despise the left for their death wish that allows for any kind of immorality unbridled and we are just supposed to go with the flow and accept it. I won’t buckle or bow in my beliefs that the left is evil and is intent on destroying American and decent society in any way possible.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Near everything went downhill from that time on. Twenty years later, approximately one generation, the bad fruits of that became severely manifest and infested in our society.

No impact. we saw this coming and about a year ago jumper back into aerospace/military parts. We’ll keep the FFL active and start back in on Billet Receivers when there’s more of a demand. But building complete rifles is a loser for a while.

Before Sununu we had conservatives. You may have only been in grammar school but none the less it was true. 68 years ago we had conservatives in BOTH parties! Ronnie’s party was conservative up to about 1996.
