SUDBURY, Ontario, July 6 (UPI) — A Canadian man escaped an encounter with a mother bear after it attacked while he was taking his dog for a walk.
Rick Nelson, 61, said the encounter began when he spotted a bear cub sticking its head out from some bushes while walking his dog, Margie, on a cliff near Panache Lake.
“I sat down on a log and the bear cub poked its head out of the shrub nearby. It was so close I could touch it. It let out a yelp, because I scared the heck out of it,” he told the CBC. “I knew right away I was in trouble. It’s calling for mommy.” MORE
FBI Director Comey will seek to extradite this evil doer and bear pugilist. Visiting fisticuffs on one of natures creatures simply cannot be permitted.

There stories are always enhanced by the excellent picture.
A guy in my town with the same name as me had a front page story because he killed an attacking bear with his .45 during a Canada trip. I got so sick of saying for several years “No, that wasn’t me. That was someone with the same name.”
I’ve heard of boxers doing the same with large sharks in the water.
It’s a very useful sport!
Ricky? Came back to life? Does his bucket still have a “hole in it”? Does he still wanna drive a truck?
