Cart Narc- “Sir, That’s a Gun”

  1. I wouldn’t mind someone reminding me not to leave a shopping cart in the open and I wouldn’t want a cart narc to put a shame magnet on my truck but I’d get arrested for pulling a gun where I live.
Surprised the guy from the store took it so well, “it’s Texas we get that here”.

  2. This store pays a guy to harass and video customers who don’t return their shopping carts where they’re supposed to, and also to slap magnetic signs on their vehicles to shame them — instead of giving a job to someone to just collect carts?

  3. I get annoyed by carts abandoned by people in the middle of a parking space, and I usually take it back in the store after I park. Does Cart Narc have a gold star for good boys like me?

And does Cart Narc go after Shatunda when she pushes her cart out to the bus stop and leaves it in the shrubbery?

  4. Dude with the magnet is an idiot. Get a life.

And if you want to keep your life, don’t pick stupid fights.

I’m not a fan of people careless with carts, but sometimes God handles it

There was this one time I was in a Krogers parking lot, and the lot was basically tilted towards the road where you exited. Some mook unloaded their cart into their hoopty and left it at the start of the incline basically in the aisle between spaces, and bumped it slightly as she left. Not sure if she even noticed it, but it was enough of a nudge that it started slowly rolling down the incline.

She went up the aisle and couldn’t get past all the folks stopped in front of the store so she started down an aisle several rows down from where she started, towards the back exit…and the base of the incline.

Meanwhile, her erstwhile cart, freed of all restraint but physics, rolled on.

And gathered speed as it did.

I watched hypnotically from inside my vehicle as these two points, the first unaware of the second, drew inexorably closer together, the cart gathering steam to ramming speed the whole time.

The only things that would have made it better would have been a dash cam and the danger music from the old Star Trek.

…and then beautifully, amazingly, against all hope and expectations, she was hit fully and firmly broadside right in her driver’s door BY HER OWN CART!!!!

…she hopped out and tried to see who did that, but of course since she did there was no one but me and my wife in a car to see it, she didn’t see US for the sun and no one else seemed to have noticed, so she huffed, toppled the cart, and peeled away, branded permanently by the self-dented door she unknowingly carried as a well-earned badge of her own shame.

It’s not something I would have prayed for, but it SURE is nice to see God give someone some instant payback once in awhile. Would have been better had she realized it was hers, better still if I’d had a freaking dash cam, but I’m still glad to get a sign that all you need do sometimes is wait upon the Lord.

Who apparently has more of a sense of humor that we give Him credit for.

  5. I dunno about the rest of you, but shady characters hang out in parking lots. They hide in between cars waiting for the next victim to steal from. I ain’t putting the cart anywhere but where it’s out of the way of other vehicles. Furthermore, the stores here have the locking carts. You take it past a certain point and it locks up. That’s so the homeless can’t steal them. But, I like the gun part, got the Nazi’s attention. Haven’t seen a shopping cart Nazi around these parts.

  6. Do, here’s a jerk who leaves a shopping cart in the parking lot, has a girlie-man kick-dog, and pulls his gun over another jerk trying to be a cart Nazi. I don’t know who thinks it’s a good idea to shoot someone over something as stupid as this, but I sort of hope the guy drives his van over a cliff before he can hurt someone. Unless he’s got several kidnapped children in the back, of course, which I suspect may well be the case.

  7. A magnetic sign probably cost more than the aggregate cost of paying someone to collect the carts.

There are also ways that people “mark” cars to set them up for being crime victims.

If the Cart Narc was so upset because the guy in the van did not return his cart, wouldn’t it have been easier for the CN to just return it himself?

There are also some areas in Houston where it would not be safe for a CN to even think of going.

You beat me to it. That was the first thing that entered my mind as well. There is a lot to be said for minding one’s own business.

  9. The truck owner did not pull a gun on anyone. Pulling a gun implies pointing it at someone. He didn’t point it. He racked it in preparation to defend himself.
The guy in the truck was feeling “threatened”, so he legally armed himself against potential attack. Just because that ‘Cart-Narc’ acts like a retard doesn’t make him harmless. He could possibly be a dangerous unstable whack job who is also armed. Dide note: I’m surprised someone hasn’t shot that annoying bastard already.

  10. I leave my cart at the intersection of four spaces in front of my car where I prefer to find one when I pull up. Whenever the push-monkey admonishes me about returning it to the “cart corral”, I reply “That’s what I pay YOU for”.

  11. This is on store management for trying to use a woke policy of shaming over what is otherwise, a benign incident. It puts the employee in harms way and placing a magnetic “shame” sign on someone’s vehicle invites idiots to vandalize the vehicle. Stupid is as stupid does…

  12. My first job as a teen was in a grocery store. One of my primary responsibilities was rounding up carts. I was glad to have the job and policed the parking lot like it was mine. I’d even help unload groceries from the cart into their vehicle and wheel the cart away. Damn, just thinking about when that was and I realized it was 50 years ago.

  15. Old video that i have seen.
Cops were eventually called and told the “Cart Narc” there was nothing to charge. If anything happened further I didn’t continue watching his bullshit.

I personally return my carts BUT if Narc was up my ass i would ask for “another, & another” until my vehicle was completely covered.
    I AM AN ASSHOLE!

I watched quite a few videos of his a couple years ago because I wanted to see someone BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF MAKE KAREN.

Also, many stores have asked the asshole to leave the property.
    He is NOT an employee.

  16. First of all, what the driver did, in Texas, is not illegal. He didn’t threaten the guy with the gun and didn’t point it at him. He simply told the guy “Don’t tuch my car.” The cart NAZI was in the wrong here. Some states have a Castle Doctrine meaning you can use lethal force to protect your property. The Soy Boy Cart NAZI should get a different job before he gets himself killed.
