Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville doubled down Friday on his prediction that President Trump may yet abandon his run for reelection when confronted with poll numbers showing that he is in danger of getting swamped in an electoral “tsunami” that might rival Herbert Hoover’s 1932 landslide defeat to Franklin D. Carville is like most of these political one-shot wonders. He was with Clinton and I think he coined the phrase “It’s the economy Stupid” in the 1992 election and hasn’t done a damn thing since except dine off that. He has “consulted” in political races mostly off the continent for lefties that either lost or having won ended up fleeing the country. Just 2 days ago they were saying President Trump wouldn’t accept the election results when he loses, and would refuse to eave, and now they are saying he’s going to throw in the towel before November. They are just throwing shit against the wall hoping something sticks.
The American people either want more of what we have now or they want something different and will vote accordingly.
We’ll know one way or the other in three months.
But I am predicting that no one is going to be happy about it for very long, the future is not going to be at all like we expect it to be no matter who is in office.
