RCP: Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville poses this question to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes about Bernie Sanders: “Why would the Democrats nominate someone who’s not even a Democrat?”
JAMES CARVILLE: We’ve had two enormously successful Democratic administrations: Clinton and Obama. We’ve had a disasterous Republican administration in the middle of all this. The Republican Party is cracking up right in front of our eyes; So about 40% of the Democratic Party’s answer to this is, ‘hey, let’s nominate someone who isn’t even a Democrat.’

– The People?
Do the people get to say who the leader of their party is, or does the establishment dictate the options?
This goes for both parties.

I don’t see Hillary getting the nomination and that leaves old Bernie.
Wow the Regressive Party is fucked. Either a potential nominee under a FBI investigation or an 80 year old cranky socialist. If this were the Rs, the left dominated media would have their collective hair on fire 24/7.
