beautiful pics boss .. autumn is a powerful season.
gorgeous playing golf as the colors from the grasses to
the black trunks of the trees carry you along.
Three days ago there was snow on the mountains. It’s melted away now, but it was there. This winter is going to be a bitch, which is good because for us Snow is Life.
That spotted fawn is saying “ha ha….I just ate all the blossoms off your favorite plants!”
This is our first day of cool weather (Toronto) and for the first time in weeks my Sarah just pounded along in her morning park walk. We should have a few more months of this before it starts to get really ugly culminating in the late January, February and early to mid March Hell months that include salted dog undercarriage, wrestling with MuttLucks, -40 C windchills and a host of other winter delights.
In the meantime thanks for the photos Claudia, Sarah and I are looking forward to seeing more of our wild pals as they really start to stock up for the winter.
Great pictures and love the hedgehog best.
1st day of Fall. Johnny Manziel just threw a 60 yard TD. Thee’s hope for the Browns after all.
Time to start storing up for winter. My favorite time of year for traveling with the dogs. Cool enough to leave them in the car while I go into the store, and still warm enough to sleep out under the stars (though I have been snowed on a few times in the high mountains).
Just watch out for the grizzlies that are fattening up for the long sleep, they don’t like to share their supermarket.
🙂
It’s probably the same reason you can’t see the body on the one hanging up in my den….
6th row down: why can’t I see the rest of the deer’s body? I can’t figure it out.
Beautiful!
Celebrate the First Day of SUMMER.
FTFY
He’s practicing the art of “Not Being Seen.”
Nice job, Claudia!
I like fall but don’t like the reminders of what’s to come…i.e. winter.
The bottom two photos are spectacular.
#13, I miss those feisty red squirrels. Don’t have them or chipmunks in my area of SC.
He’s all there, but only his head is in focus.
And he blends well into the background.
Look carefully and you’ll see his chest and left shoulder.
That treed coon reminds me of an old Jerry Clower story:
