By all accounts a good guy. Lucky we had him this long.
“Is anyone going to San Antone?” was one of my favorites.

…a true legend dies of old age, and they have to politicize it and probably wreck his funeral by pretending it was FakeFlu what done him it.
Bastards.
RIP Mr. Pride. May you rest well in the Lord, and you may now add your voice to the choir of angels you’ll be kissing.
Pray for his family, they’ll be missing him, and been given a harder time to deal with it because of political flu lies. May they find strength and peace and blessed assurance that he is with the Lord, and they may be together again by and by.
“sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Some people should live an extra 50 years, some others not so much. Great voice and talent.
COVID death? I’m sure being 86 years-old had nothing to do with it
RIP Charlie, sorry they lied about what killed you.
His Cowboys fight song fit the times there in Dallas in the 70’s
