  1. Cheap Trick Live at Budokan was what got me through high school!
My dear friend Cindi (RIP) and I spent hours cruising in her dad’s El Camino blasting that album.
I would love to be cruising with my friend again!

  2. I saw Cheap Trick with ACDC at Atlanta Symphony Hall in 1977…or was it 1978. Symphony Hall had fallen on hard times and was whoring itself out to rock bands. It was surreal to be smoking dope in the same place I’d been to a few years before on elementary school field trips. The 70’s…man, what an era. Anyway, ACDC blew then off the stage. I do remember that.

  3. I saw them in a small bar in Southern Wisconsin near some empty corn fields. Never heard of them before. To me it was just another freezing cold Saturday night with live music. The ceiling was low like in the second video. So on the stage he could reach the acoustic tiles and start flipping them off the ceiling as the night went on.

I believe the lead singer debuted his saxophone that evening.

They were alright. But pretty much all the live music was good back then. Garage band or not.
