Chris Cuomhole Thinks Using Accurate Language About Guns is a Distraction

The important thing Chris is for everyone to speak the same language on the issues. A talk on gun control should be had using the appropriate and correct gun terms and language. Too many people get frustrated over the circular arguments like the definition of “semi-automatic”

  1. Same douche who told us we couldn’t read Wikileaks…

“Also interesting is, remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents. It’s different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you’re learning from us.”

Now he presumes to dumb the entire gun discussion down to his eight crayon box. Hey Chris, I’ll stick with my box of 64. And I can assure you that nothing I learned about this, I learned from you.

  2. The distraction is having people that know nothing about guns using emotion and incorrect information to manipulate people into joining a call to ban or eliminate certain weapons.

  3. From what I can tell, an AR 15 is a scary looking weapon and must be banned. But human nature being what it is, and suppliers being willing to provide products people want, someone will design or invent a semi-automatic rifle that does exactly what an AR 15 does, or better, and which looks more friendly or at least less scary. Or they will invent a rifle that can be converted to a semi-automatic by virtually anyone.

Banning AR 15s or scary looking rifles is a superficial bandaid that avoids the real problem of identifying and dealing with people like Cruz who shoot up schools. Unfortunately, dealing with these issues involves dealing with policies near and dear to leftists such as their supposed tolerance with all sorts of people, lack of social or moral responsibility, pitting groups against each other, and destroying personal freedoms in the name of this, that or the other. Instead of trying to figure out why people use heroin, we just ban the heroin and presto – problem solved. Or not.
