It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are witnessing an increase in extreme weather events – hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires and all the rest. It emphatically counters the claim that current temperatures and levels of atmospheric CO2 are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, compared to the last half billion years of earth’s history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. Earth has been in an ice age, (by definition,) for the past three-and-a-half million years according to Antarctic ice core dating. An ice age exists until all ice one Earth’s surface has melted. Earth is between glaciations.
An absolute eye-opener to anyone who doesn’t yet understand the authoritarian aspect of the entire “Green” movement.
I’d much rather have it a bit warmer than, let’s say, underneath a glacier over 2 miles thick – which is pretty much exactly where I’m sitting right now, but about 18.000 years ago. If I were a betting man I’d wager we get another big freeze before we incinerate the place.
