The FBI is probing Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe for allegedly taking illegal campaign donations from a foreign donor.
The news could imperil the campaign of likely Democrat presidential nominee Clinton as well, as McAuliffe’s time as a board member for the Clinton Global Initiative is also “under scrutiny”.
And illegal donations from Chinese interests is at the very heart of it.
CNN has the story:
As part of the probe, the officials said, investigators have scrutinized McAuliffe’s time as a board member of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), a vehicle of the charitable foundation set up by former President Bill Clinton.
Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China’s National People’s Congress, the country’s legislature.
U.S. election law prohibits foreign nationals to donate to political races.
McAulifee was not notified of the FBI probe.
Everything and everyone the Clintons touch is dirty. McAulliffe has always made my skin crawl.
I’m betting that whatever McAuliffe did he learned from Hillary.
And she’s done it times ten. Or 100.
But she is exempt from these same laws because she is the Democrat Queen.
The only surprise here is that the FBI is brave enough to put even a teeny tiny dent in the Clinton armor.
Somebody inform the FBI about the millions of dollars Obama took for both the 2008 and 2012 campaigns by intentionally turning off credit card verification of donations.
I hope he gets wet noondles for legs and pulls the rug right out from under he Clinton’s crooked shoes. Shake them to thier foundation.
Just show him pictures pictures of the tennis courts in the ‘facility’ where he’ll do his time.
Then show him pictures of the shanks nabbed from general population in the place where he’ll go if he doesn’t turn on Hilary.
Sum ting Wang. We have a bad Governor in Wash’ State in Jay Inslee (Mr. Green Weenie) but Terry McAulliffe is far worse, he’s totally corrupt. My daughter and her husband live in Va. Beach, unlucky her. I keep trying to get them to move out of Virginia before the shit hits the fan because of the stoking of racial animosity led by this POS governor.
They should have all of the Clinton investigations wrapped up by January 2017.
