  1. I want to hear clockboy explain what these colors represent:

    Black
    Brown
    Red
    Orange
    Yellow
    Green
    Blue
    Violet
    Gray
    White
    Gold
    Silver

You don’t build any electronics project without knowing this.

And Ohm’s Law: the first thing a student of electronics learns. Have the little bastard explain this simple formula – before he gets any professional coaching.

They could have the little jihadi hitting the books right now, in case they end up in court by some fluke of the Just-Us system.

  2. That might get somebody by with electrical, but it’s hard to pick a resistor without knowing the code. All the electronics techs I know, myself included, know that code by heart. It’s one of the first things you have to learn if you are going to put electronic parts together.

That kid can’t even name the chips used to make a clock, let alone explain what they do. Total setup.

  3. It’s so obvious that it was a setup to show ‘islamaphobia’ that even a caveman can see it.

But, like all liberal fantasies, we have to pretend the obvious doesn’t exist.

Also, keep in mind that this is being done just as hundreds of thousands of ‘refugees’ from the middle east are being planned on arriving into the country.

  4. Gee Wally, now we know how muzlims “invented” things!
My old man used to say “Any asshole can take something apart. It takes brains, skill and patience to build something”
Which brings me to “You Didn’t Build That” Barry. I know what he’s taking apart, but I’ll be damned if I know what he’s ever built!

  5. As a kid I did something similar. I took apart one of those old ultrasonic remote controls, the ones with no electronics inside, you know the old clicker remotes? After removing the guts I glued in an electric motor from a race car game that was filled with gears. A little soldering later for a scavanged switch added a 9v battery and a propeller from a model airplane and I electrified something that was never meant to be electrified. I made a personal cooling device, probably the first of its kind ever in the 1970’s.

My friends thought it was cool, I even brought it to school, but outside of that I got no recognition.

  6. He’s no Alexander Graham Bell, not even Caractacus Potts! My son modified Nerf guns and learned how to solder, learning online how to do it but knowing he didn’t invent. Did this kid even pull a connector apart or plug it back in?
