President Trump Wants Colin Kaepernick and Kanye West for Race Summit

President Trump has reportedly agreed to invite NFL anthem-protesting quarterback Colin Kaepernick and hip-hop star Kanye West, to an upcoming summit on issues of race.

“He is 100 percent for it,” said Darrell Scott, a Cleveland-based pastor advises the White House adviser on issues of religion. “He was very enthusiastic about it.”

Scott says he spoke with Trump about attendees for the summit in the Oval Office, after an outdoor White House ceremony for Thursday’s National Day of Prayer.

I have a few reservations about this idea.

First, I don’t like giving Colon ‘the Intestine’ Krinkledick any more attention (that name is from Joe Dan Gorman). His 15 minutes were up several months ago.

Second, I’m not confident in Kanye West’s beliefs. He is still groggy from his toddling away from the left’s plantation. He has proven his chops in standing firm against the left’s attacks on him, but his ability to get his message out is suspect. I saw a clip of him talking to a group of people and he seems to have this naive hippy “luv not hate” message that needs some work.

I would much rather see Krinkledick debate Candace Owens. She is not totally conservative, either, but she has been at it longer and has a passion for more of the conservative ideals than West.

But, I may be wrong.

At least, President Trump talking about doing this (whether he goes through with it or not) is poking the left’s eye. He’s so good at that!

What do you think?

  1. George Bush should have invited Kanye to the White House after the “George Bush hates black people” comment.

Instead Bush just let that comment hang out there like a dirty diaper.
    Bush didn’t push back.

I say let them talk, have a 40-oz Uppity Summit and let the chitlins fall where they may…

  2. @LocoBlancoSaltine, I’d call racism but as a Caucasian since the democratic stolen more Rights than Whites Act of 1964, I must agree. Loved to see Kayne wipe the floor with Kap! Even though Kap will not know what a chitin is.

  3. Any time anyone speaks publicly it is a win. If Candace Owens speaks and people who think they oppose her hear, we win. If Kap speaks and people who think they support him hear, we win. Because our views are logical and rational, and theirs are the opposite. If Kanye speaks, even if he struggles to articulate his thoughts (oh, dang, that word just made me racist), people will recognize what is sensible.

Just don’t bring up fish sticks.

  4. This shows that Trump is ballsy and unafraid to hear opposing views, and let the chips fall where they may.

Trump did not destroy the NFL’s attendance or TV viewerships. Kaepernick did that, along with his cohorts.

  5. Don’t underestimate this Kayne West cat. He is a friend of my niece and she says he can hold his own and she is a hell of a debater. He speaks his own mind and although he has trouble articulating nuanced points, he doesn’t tap out. This fool cuckold limperdick can only regurgitate talking points and cannot respond to anything with original thought.

  6. My first thought was that having a White House talk about race legitimizes the hoax that there is a race problem in America. It is a vile and pernicious lie and President Trump should not join in.
