Colorado’s top election official says 30,000 voter registration notices were sent to noncitizens — accidentally.
Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office blamed the error on a glitch, saying the mix-up occurred when department employees compared a list of 102,000 names provided by the Electronic Registration Information Center with a database of Coloradans issued driver’s licenses, including noncitizens who were issued special licenses, according to the Associated Press.
“The Department has become aware that approximately 30,000 EBU [Eligible But Unregistered] postcard mailers were incorrectly sent to ineligible Coloradans,” a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office told Colorado Public Radio. “The office is undertaking an internal review of the incident and will take any corrective action that is warranted.” more here

When I first got my driver’s license in Nevada, they pushed the HELL out of registering you to vote.
It was damn near compulsory.
I’ve never seen anything like it.

I just got back from a 5 day visit at my home state of Colorado. I’m a 4th generation Coloradoan and a 3rd generation Denverite, been gone 8 years now. I’ll only go back for the funerals of a select few and to see my 1 year old grand nephew. Colorado (controlled by the Denver front range and the I-70 ski country) is GONE, GONE, GONE! Never to recover!!!!….

I’ve met her. My opinion: she is politically conniving and incompetent. Of course, neither of those disqualify her being a perfect officeholder and candidate for the Dems. In a red wave year voters might purge her. Not holding my breath, but it’s possible, even in Colorado.
