Washington Examiner: Colorado Gov. Jared Polis made a significant donation to the campaign of Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s primary opponent.
According to campaign finance records, Polis, a Democrat, donated $1,000 to Antone Melton-Meaux, a Minneapolis attorney who is running as a Democrat in the primary race for Omar’s seat, on Monday.
Melton-Meaux has significantly outpaced Omar in terms of fundraising. In the most recent filings, he brought in $3.2 million, nearly 7 times the fundraising haul that Omar brought in during the same time period. Omar’s campaign has said it is not concerned about Melton-Meaux’s fundraising success because many of his donations flow in from outside of the district. more

Colorado Governor Jared Polis is not happy with Ilhan Omar’s often stated, fervent hatred of Israel. I think he’s planning on running for a higher office after he finishes wrecking things here in Fagarado. Either Senator or President. His ego is boundless and his bank account is overflowing.
