There are very few days left until Summer gives way to Autumn. The crisp fall days, cool and clear, refresh souls from the overbearingly hot sweltering days of summer. As the thermometer falls and the days shorten … hey, what am I saying? I know what happens after fall! Well, enjoy the renewing of our planet. Snowball fight, anyone?

I vow to spend more time in the woods before winter. And empty nesters, go out to a pumpkin patch at least a few more times just to watch the excitement of the little ones picking their pumpkins — their joy rubs off.
