This guy does a great job of incorporating misheard lyrics into a stage routine.

I’m glad to see that. I can’t figure out what the lyrics are most of the time either.
Some of the misunderstanding is the accent difference, some of the mishearing is intentional by the performers themselves.
Funny stuff !!
Watching the audience’s reactions made it even funnier.
Whenever I’m in a place where I don’t know where the ladies’ room is, I always check the right side first.
Because “there’s a bathroom on the right” (per CCR).
I don’t want to be Obama’s Elf 🙂

If you’re happy and you know it, clamp your hams…
The chorus to Charlie Brown by The Coasters has always left me hearing Who’s that pooping in the halls. I’ve never known whether it’s goofing or pooping and I’ve always wondered about that. Maybe I need my ears checked but I’ve always heard pooping in the halls. Why’s everybody always picking on me. Anybody else besides me hear pooping instead of goofing.
Mull of Kintyre is a song, that when I first heard it, I wondered why someone would write a song about Mulligan’s tires.
After hearing this, some of these songs are ruined for me forever. And generally in a good way.
Now that was funny!

“later we’ll have some fuckin’ pie and we’ll do some carolling”
@geoff the aardvark, we always added, “who’s got a tattoo on his balls”
lol
@ironyCurtain, I’ll never hear that song again now without mind-dubbing in those lyrics. lol. Never did know what he was saying anyway, but loved his songs. Thanks!
You’re welcome. That one really kills me, very funny.
Irony — That was hysterically good! Joe Cocker. Wow. One of the stations just showed a mult-hour uncut video of Woodstock. So easy to see the beginning of the end in much of that footage. I think I recognized a few of our current left-wingers there.
Too funny. Thanks!
@irony – I always thought Joe Cocker looked like he escaped from a school for the spastic. Sorry, not PC. That was funny – thanks!
