Using the power of music, a series of rap videos launched today by Hip Hop Public Health, a community outreach organization founded by Columbia neurologist Olajide Williams, MD, aims to increase COVID-19 vaccine coverage in communities of color.  

“As the coronavirus continues to ravage communities of color, the long-standing distrust that many feel towards medical science has proven to be an even greater challenge,” says Williams, professor and chief of staff in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

  2. I love how you can’t just provide facts or just explain something to a person with a melanin content over 0% cause they just wouldn’t understand… talk about low expectations and veiled racism.

    I won’t be getting one. I don’t get flu shots. Never had the flu either.

    Fyi: a cousin of mine is part owner and Pres of a pharmacy that only supplies hospitals and doctors. She said there aren’t fetus cells or dna altering substances in the vaccines.
