Elon is the real deal and when he stood with Trump you knew it then too, cuz you can’t lie your way into space.
Inventor’s lore places Thomas Edison and his lightbulb as the gold standard for not giving up in the face of failure. He famously said that the ultimate failure was how close many investors came to getting it right before quitting. But Musk and his SpaceX is on par. More than once, the next mission was make or break and his vision, passion, and dogged determination in the face of failure prompted those around him to do the impossible.
NASA since their beginning said this would never be possible.

The big question for this election should be: “Who would you rather have on your team? Trump and Musk or Kamala and Tim?” Game over.
(As I drive around Seattle these days, I am filled with both pity and contempt for all the weird-os who are sporting “Harris/Walz” lawn signs. It’s hard to imagine anyone so completely ignorant about our country’s reality, they would actually vote for more of it. P.S. There are so very few of those signs, thankfully.)

The absolute worst was the sign I saw the other day that said something akin to ,”If you believe in the freedoms our founders intended, Vote Harris”. The irony smacked me like a Mike Tyson left hook. This woman hates free speech, gun rights, unfettered media, law and order, accountability and our entire immigration system. She is the “anti-rights” candidate.
Sadly, I wonder how many of Space X’s employees are in the Harris Walz camp. I fear it is likely quite a few lost souls if not a majority.

People are counting down to launch with more excitement and energy than a stadium full of football fans.
Remember the late 60’s and early 70’s when everyone would stop everything to watch an Apollo launch or landing? We’re headed toward that excitement again.
The amount of engineering and technology required to do this in almost incomprehensible. Hundreds of Sensors, thrusters, algorithms…. Amazing!

In my part of Dallas, there is 10-1 ratios of Kamala vs Trump signs in yards.
One would think everyone is for Kammie, except we all know the left is violent towards the right – so Trump signs are a risk.
Which leads to an idea I think would be funny and effective – have a bunch of pro Trump bumper stickers and slap them on obviously lefty vehicles next time they start rioting. Which will probably be within 24 hrs of his landslide election.
The owners might not ever notice them until they are putting the fire out because they have so many stupid stickers on them declaring their souls to the world.
