Congressional Democrats See No Evidence of Spying On Trump Campaign

Democrats among the “Gang of 8” which met with the Department of Justice for a spygate briefing released a very nuanced statement afterwards.

“Nothing we heard today has changed our view that there is no evidence to support any allegation that the FBI or any intel agency placed a spy in the Trump campaign,” said a statement Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., read to reporters on behalf of himself, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. and Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va.”

“It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is”

  2. According to CNN’s Sarah Westwood on Twitter yesterday, they didn’t get to see the evidence when they went. She tweeted:
“Sources tell me Gowdy and Nunes did not receive the documents they requested during the noon meeting at DOJ, despite the pleas for openness from Kelly and Flood at the start of the briefing”

    To which Mollie Hemingway added:
“This would put Schiff’s claim he saw no evidence of spying in necessary context…”

  3. An obnoxiom provided by a fopdoodle and deviousest

Translation: Objectionable content not based on anything of substantive merit except for a subjective opinion driven by extreme political bias from someone of little significance, but more devious than anyone else.

  4. They are protesting way too much after the Clapper comment. We are etting too close to Obama now for comfort. Must regroup and use their most useful took the media to deny everything and feign outrage. We will see how far that gets them. Particularly when their own folks keep going off script and Obama has the audacity to still brag he is scandal free.

I’ve heard that if you say “Maverick” three times, something will deliver a copy of a “Handbook for the Not Recently Enough Deceased” to top men. Top… men.

  6. The wheels is coming off and all hell is going to break loose soon. The individuals involved are all but defined by their treachery and deceit, once they break omerta it is going to be a race to the finish line to get immunity before other son-of-a-bitches that have the goods can cut a quicker deal and rat the rest of them out. Wait too long and the the window of opportunity will be closed and these dirty motherfuckers know it. It is an integral part of the game they have played their entire careers. I guarandamntee you that their attorneys are already working up deals. The individuals involved don’t need to be reminded that if they have info to offer up that info retains value only so long as someone else doesn’t beat them to the table with the same info.

BTW, it’s hard to change your view of things when you’re not looking.

  8. When you’ve staked your agenda, your pronouncements, your voting record, your “reputation,” your party’s future on a lie – and are demonstrably treasonous – you have NO OPTION but to continue in your lie.
To admit the facts is to put your head (and your party’s head) into the noose – quite literally if America regains her soul.

These people have operated from a position of deceit for so long (with the connivance of the media and academia) that, I’m pretty certain, some of them no longer understand that facts – in and of themselves – without “spin” and “interpretation” so much as exist. They seem to live in some perverted, phantasmagorical morally relativistic world where “reality” is a matter of “will” instead of phenomena which exists without their observation and absorption.

Should be a curious study for an abnormal psychologist (a psychologist who studies abnormalities, not one who is abnormal itself).
