Democrats are outraged that Republicans are planning on objecting to the certification of electoral votes. It’s “conspiracy and fantasy,” says Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“The effort by the sitting president of the United States to overturn the results is patently undemocratic,” the New York Democrat said. “The effort by others to amplify and burnish his ludicrous claims of fraud is equally revolting.”
“This is America. We have elections. We have results. We make arguments based on the fact and reason—not conspiracy and fantasy,” he added.

I have been saying on several forums that there is little the left is saying about Trump that they didn’t say about both Bushes or President Reagan. We wouldn’t even get to talking about Nixon. If Nixon were a Democrat he would be held in high esteem today.
Come on, really, what else would a democrat (Schumer) have to say? They hate anyone who doesn’t buy their con-game story for them to be empowered and rich on the worker peasants backs. Nothing new on that front.

Ordinarily I would drive and I know my way about the city.
But Mayor Bowser will shut down road traffic and parking. Plus hotels and restaurants.

Aside, millions of cars and trucks clogging every road in and out of the city, are also valuable. Pack camping gear and provisions.
