Now Ron Paul, I would LOVE to see Ron Paul holding the gavel. He would absolutely hold the House to single-issue bills, and would push for cost-cutting and getting out of Ukraine sinkhole.

Tucker makes more sense, he has plenty of time on his hands and we can be assured that Ukraine funding, border security, and impeachment proceedings will not be shelved or forgotten.

Burst the bubble more, I don’t see a Freedom Caucus being house speaker either, won’t get the votes.
In fact I don’t see Republicans agreeing on this anytime soon. McHenry could hold the interim position longer than anticipated.
Update: Apparently Trump was asked, and said he would accept the position if he won.
I think that would be a bad idea, for him.
House rules, anyone facing indictments is barred from holding the Speakers position. They would have to change their own rules with a vote before letting him run for Speaker.
