JTN: The Conservative Clergy of Color — a group of black pastors, priests and ministers — is running a full-page ad in the Atlanta Constitution Journal newspaper saying it’s “correcting the lies” President Biden and Georgia Democratic politician Stacey Abrams have told about the state’s new voting law.  

“There’s nothing ‘racist’ about the Election Integrity Act, and it’s certainly not ‘Jim Crow 2.0.’ Your lies are now devastating minority small businesses in Atlanta following the MLB’s decision to move its All-Star Game to Denver, resulting in the loss of $100 million in business,” reads the ad. “Enough is enough.” more

  11. What’s happening to IOTWReport.com? It used to be that there were comments that caused one to stop and think, to ponder alternative views or to add something to a chain of thought(ful) thinkers. Now it’s devolved to this sort of “chatter”? Is it ennui?

  12. Despite the Eyore comments, this is actually big news and I think I know why these clergy did this, and I believe we’re going to be seeing a lot of this particular kind of thing in the near future — this push back against our current culture — by, especially, Christians “of color.”

    There’s a reformation going on in the American church right now of vast proportions. My attention has been diverted for quite a while towards it and I’ve been spending much of my free time listening to those who are leading the charge. Che Ahn of Harvest Rock church in Pasadena is one of them; Lance Wallnau is another. But there are countless other pastors, ministers, etc., from all denominations who are finally banding together to bring the body of Christ back to their foundational tenets in order to throw off the Communist/Marxist/Socialist attacks on the church and on American patriots.

    Too much to write about all of it now, but this ad by these people is exactly the kind of thing that fits with their plan. This is something to be excited about and to celebrate.

  16. Leftism is empty, void of purpose. That’s why they need to dig up old issues and appropriate things like racism and gender inequality to give themselves a platform. Our useless MSMedia assists because they have also become useless and lazy within their own craft.
