Pulling the game only makes people want it more. There will be an underground market develop for it now and it will be populated by those the Chinese rulers least want to obtain it.
The forbidden fruit is what man wants the more than anything, no matter that everything else is freely available to him, and he will do anything to obtain it in any way he can.
Been that way ever since Eve went for the apple and Adam then followed her, it is now a part of human nature and can’t be changed. Those who want to outlaw things they don’t like need to keep that in mind.

…this is a little bit different thing, for Adam, anyway…
First, when a hot woman tells a young guy to do something, he’ll usually do it no questions asked. Guys are kind of stupid that way.
Second, Adam’s gotta do what she says if he ever wants to get laid again. It’s not like he has a lot of options…
…I get your point, though, but I would certainly hope that the lure of a forbidden video game is not as strong as that of the ONLY female on Earth that DOESN’T have fur, feathers, or fins…
