Donald Trump did not say the Russians didn’t meddle in the U.S. election. Remember that when you read heated statements from leftist shills or people like Jeff Flake and John McCain. The left is in full lie mode, and leftists will say anything while assuming that their audience will never actually hear the truth.
Here’s what really happened. First Trump said:
During today’s meeting, I addressed directly with President Putin the issue of Russian interference in our elections.
I felt this was a message best delivered in person. I spent a great deal of time talking about it and President Putin may very well want to address it and very strongly, because he feels very strongly about it and he has an interesting idea.
Trump later followed up with this:
I have great confidence in my intelligence people but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today and what he did is an incredible offer.
He offered to have the people working on the case come and work with their investigators, with respect to the 12 people. I think that’s an incredible offer. OK?
Trump never said the Russians didn’t meddle – only that he discussed the issue with Putin and Putin denied it. Putin appears to be ready to back his claim up by providing Robert Mueller access to the 12 supposed hackers.
Putin could be lying, but nothing Trump said boils down to “the Russians didn’t meddle.” Rather, Trump was being diplomatic and didn’t directly call Putin a liar. more here
It doesn’t matter what Trump said, the liberal media will fabricate something that will make him look bad. It’s a sad new normal for news media.
In the radio sound bite I heard this morning, Pres. Trump said there was, in spite of the intelligence, “no reason to believe it was Russia” or words to that effect.
This may be a case of Trump letting the fish off the hook and into the net. I hope we see some proof of something soon.
What do I care if Russia “meddled”? Trump won, they can meddle in the mid terms too
No one can determine fault or conspiracy until the facts are in. The fact is the democrats won’t release the servers or the emails, so who’s aiding the Russians?
It would be great if Meuller would go meet with the 12 accused hackers and get to the bottom of this. Let him take all the time he needs to sort it out. 20 to 30 years should be a minimum but if more time is needed so be it.
Whatever else happened at the summit, Trump managed to shake loose a whole bunch of show indictments. I hope Mueller and Rosenstein haven’t blown their wads, because Trump is not done trolling them.
This is all a set up so they can claim Russian interference in the upcoming election!
I all for sending Mueller over there to get the old Russian probski up his asski.
IMO it took very much restraint on Trump’s behalf to not name names and let the dogs off the leashes. (that’s no one in public office)
Who is not reporting what Putin stated? Crooked billionaire American who invested within Russia transferred a Russian $400 million into Hillary’s campaign fund aided by US intel ops. It wasn’t Trump who had foreign help, it was crooked Clinton.
