The percentage of coronavirus deaths in the country has been declining for ten straight weeks.

Coronavirus deaths in the country have nearly reached a level where the virus will cease to qualify as an epidemic under Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rules, the federal agency reported on Friday.
The CDC qualifies a disease outbreak as an “epidemic” if the number of deaths attributable to the disease exceeds a certain percentage of total deaths per week. That threshold for pneumonia, influenza and COVID-19 fluctuates slightly depending on the time of year, ranging from around 7% at the height of flu season to around 5% during less virulent months.
CDC data indicate that deaths from those ailments began skyrocketing in the country around the second week of March, hitting a peak around early May and then plummeting quickly after that.
The latest data show that the percentage of deaths in the country attributable to those factors had as of the last week in June reached its lowest point since the end of last year, becoming “equal to the [current] epidemic threshold of 5.9%,” the CDC said. more here

I’m getting pretty sick and tired of being simultaneously blamed for spreading it AND being told to stay home because I have underlying health problems. So annoying.
Just my unscientific hypothesis here but it is reacting just the way a bio-weaponized virus should. One doesn’t want a weapon that keeps on killing indefinitely. You want it to cripple your enemy just long enough to take control of them. It was custom designed to have a limited shelf life once exposed. As far as China was concerned it’s easier to allow a million of your own over populated people die to make it look like an accident rather than an act of war. Even Dr Fauci never had the face of panic when he was interviewed on the news. His expression was almost giddy half the time. My gut feeling from day one was that this bug was payback for crippling China’s trade deals with the USA. A warning shot, in the back.

I have to tell you guys this story-
A few days ago, I was at the grocery store and I was about 10 feet away from a woman but looking at her direction at the refrigerated case she was standing near. I see her take her mask off, sneeze into her arm (and the packaged stuff below her) and then put her mask back on. I said, “bless you!”
She said thank you.
I wanted to laugh SO HARD thinking these are the people who wear the masks that are supposed to stop everyone from dying.
And you know what? I’m not even mad at her.
This whole thing is so stupid and unnecessary. You wanna wear a mask all your life like a security blanket? Do it. I don’t care. But don’t expect the rest of us to do the same.
All I can tell them is they best not contact trace me. I got a phone call this morning from my nephew that was over 4th of July that some guy at work tested positive and they shut down work and making them all get tested.
They best not think if he’s positive I will get tested or quarantine for 2 weeks. I get why he’s getting tested as it’s either get tested or lose his job, the idiot man he works with though who got tested for the hell of it and because his wife wanted them to go tested needs to be knocked upside the head.
