Marquette University’s John McAdams received the Academic Freedom award from CPAC last night. Professor McAdams has been suspended from his academic position for posting on his personal website, a video of another professor that was supplied by a student. His dispute with the University has dragged on for two years and will most likely go to court this summer.
If that professor’s a martyr, does that mean he gets 72 coed virgins? Because it’s going to be hard to find that many nowadays.
I hope, for whatever reason, this case makes it to the SCOTUS. With one or two more constitution-loving jurists on the court, the outcome will be gladly predictable.
What is academic freedom, if this isn’t a prime example?
Regarding the above comment about the 72 virgins for a dead Arab,,,,,,well they are now down to 7 year old girls, because of so many Arabs being killed!!!!!

Isn’t the first amendment a “civil right”? So isn’t denial of civil rights grounds for forfeiting federal dollars? Strip Marquette of all student loans, research grants, G.I. Bill reimbursements, etc. That will get these phony catholics some “religion”.
