I swear I cant recall a single song written or recorded by these people, and I grew up in the 60s and 70s.

Having been at Woodstock, although memorable on its face, does not make you a sage, wise, or even interesting, it just makes you old.
But even out to pasture 70’s rockers need green rectangles (that weed is not going to smoke itself) so back they came hand outstretched.
On a similar note, one of the good guys in Hollywood (I thought at the time) was Chris Pratt. His Christian faith was always part of his persona, and he wore it proudly. Well, he just did an interview for Men’s Health where he says not only that he is “not religious” but blamed Christianity for most of the evils of the world. I hope he enjoys his 30 pieces of silver because, on that day that he meets his maker, he’s got some ‘splaining to do.
I like a lot of their music, Suite: Judy Blue Eyes being a favorite. Having said that, who cares if they left or came back? They are pop musicians, not people of substance.

Déjà Vu was one of the first albums I bought. It has quite a few hits – Carry On, Teach Your Children, Woodstock, Our House. Good music, poor politics.
