FOX: The Daily Beast issued an apology to the laptop repairman who first obtained Hunter Biden’s computer after the liberal blog erroneously alleged the device was “stolen.”
John Paul Mac Isaac was swept up in the New York Post’s bombshell reporting in October 2020 that shed light on the shady business dealings overseas of the son of then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden as the Delaware laptop repair shop owner came forward with Hunter Biden’s laptop after being alarmed by its content in 2019.
However, a report published by The Daily Beast in December 2020, after it became public knowledge that Hunter Biden was the subject of a federal criminal investigation over his finances, alleged the laptop was “stolen.”
That was until Wednesday when the left-wing outlet updated its report with an “Editor’s note.”

“Erroneously” my posterior, and I doubt they “alleged” it: they probably said outright that it was stolen although I don’t have the article to be sure.
They should be called The Daily Bankrupt.
The apology isn’t going to make the damages they have to pay go away.

Do not accept an apology, accept the fact that you’re going to sue their asses into oblivion. I do not care how many sorry’s I got, I move forward not backwards and I hope the computer guy does too. He seems like the type to go for the throat.
Wow, these days an apology is damn near an admission of guilt. They most be hoping to soften the amount of the settlement.

Who did they insinuate it was “stolen” from, the Russians? The narrative at the time was the laptop was Russian disinformation.

The lawsuit must look really bad. The apology is a weak attempt at mitigation, but very, far, extremely late. It’s in the area of blatantly self serving.
