  1. “So the harder part of the bat”. This guys a goofball. The bats the same hardness, anywhere on the bat. Unless it’s made from two different types of wood. The advantage of the bat would most likely be moving the majority of the weight down the bat. More of a kinetic energy sweet spot.

  2. Made me think of the America’s Cup – well, before they changed all the rules and allowed catamarans. There were strict requirements for the competitors, but within those requirements innovation was welcome.
